By uploading your video, you give YellaBird Media permission to edit and post the content on our social media channels and website. Videos may be trimmed for length, lightly edited, or included in compilations with other cast members.

What we’re looking for

Please record a simple vertical (portrait) video on your phone. No fancy lighting needed. Natural and authentic is perfect.

Length: 60–90 seconds
Framing: Vertical (like an Instagram Reel)
Tone: Conversational and relaxed

Suggested structure (loose, not scripted)

You do not need to follow a script. Feel free to use your own words. Here’s a helpful framework:

1. Introduce yourself

• Hi, I’m [Your Name], and I play [Character’s First Name] on Higher Grounds
  or

• I’m part of the cast of Higher Grounds

2. Share something about the show
You might talk about:

• What drew you to the project

• Who your character is

• Why this story feels meaningful

• What makes the show unique

• Any other relevant details

3. Invite people to listen
You could say things like:

• A new episode drops every Wednesday

• The season finale just dropped

• You can binge the full season now

• Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts
